vancouver mainstay ryan trann aka secret lover follows his first ep, jus jack girl, with his second offering for heart to heart, the much anticipated between you and me ep. ryan trann has been kicking around canada s pacific riviera now for over a decade, riding the ebbs and flows that have helped shape the vancouver scene into the hotbed of house music it is now synonymous for. known for his laid back demeanor, trann perfectly encapsulates the vancouver sound with between you and me, balancing the hazy summertime feels of -space and time- and -do you do- with the late night stripped back grooves of -ready to pop- and -i want you-

apoena get his tracks played by names such as delano smith, luke hess, agoria, baby ford, jus ed (etc...) since his first record out. known to bring groove into deepness, the brazilian producer may be showing his stronger record so far with “intense ep”. the a side provides prime driving stuff while b side take the mood to a more profound level.

son of sound aka henry maldonado has been producing influential house music dating back right back to 1991. he has released on strictly rhythm as house 2 house, maxi records as deja vu and maw records as rhythm section. son of sound has recently appeared on tirk and local talk before dropping the bomb that is jewel eye nights on jus ed s underground quality. he also has releases scheduled for later in the year on razor n tape and city fly. currently working on a collaboration ep with recloose for his own district 30 label. henry is also host of the highly regarded hit it and quit it radio show on the lot and east village radio with recloose and private panther.

after his exciting album elasticity on his own imprint elastic dreams, a sagittariun delivers the equally fascinating three track oxidize ep for german label couldnt care more. while heights is a stripped-down basic-channelish techno ride, rough, edgy and with a hint of hypnotic melodies, the title track heads in a quite different direction: still its raw expressionistic techno, but the flow is ever-changing, mesmerizingly shifting and twisting between hissing beats and enlightened synths. for the remix of oxidize golden pudel club resident and odd-house virtuoso rvds fires up the acid machine and does it detroit style, warm and cold, uplifting and melancholic.

the 2 new tracks by qu unleashes yet another underground vibe with a dark, mysterious, composed simple touch. more than anything, the uplifting rhythm unique to a former dancer will surely capture and fulfill your senses.

gari romalis keeps on surprising us all, with his amazing ability to produce solid chicago laced beats, full of groove and brimming with soul. so far his music has been released on some highly respected underground imprints, such as rawax, rue de plaisance and bosconi records amongst a long list of others we couldn t be happier to have gari joining us on our vinyl catalogue, plus, along side him for remix duties, esteban adame, half of the renowned los hermanos. esteban is a key member on the ur crew and has been also releasing incredible music on labels such as underground quality, or his own ican productions, which he runs in collaboration with santiago salazar.

phil weeks & didier allyne presents ep remix with 2 tracks done in 2008 & 2010 before their first ep which will be out in september 2015, il mio remix released in 2008 with burning influence is today hard to find on vinyl & never released in digital & played by jus ed in 2009 on rts fm , on b side,p&d (phil weeks & didier allyne) has revisited san francisco killer producer ebe with jam hypnotic techno out on pnd04 (sold out at this days) & played by marcel dettmann.

as we draw proceedings to a close with part 3 last supplement - we take a moment to reflect back on what nathaniel x has meant not just to us at undertones, but the entire culture of deep house as a whole. this is not the end - it s merely the closing of one chapter and a transition into the next.

first full ep on fear of flying from label co-founder blm since 2010’s ‘step to this. during this time the london based producers sound has found a home on jus eds underground quality label as well as tusba and the secret sundaze imprint to name a few. * queen of nowhere* is an eclectic mix with * 128 grooves* harking back to the golden era of tech house with its crunchy beats and shards of melody imbuing the track with a sense of warmth . * hmrc* delves into electro territory with a melancholy air whilst the flip sides title track * queen of nowhere* is a straight up slice of no nonsense slammin techno. the ep is rounded off nicely by the more off kilter * i got my beno*, a lovingly deep and blissful breakbeat infused ride, perfect for those after hours sessions.

yoruba records is happy to release this dance floor ready ep by label head osunlade. stretching across a range of styles theres something for everyone in this release, an absolute must for every djs bag. the ep opens up with the title track, what pho. a relaxing jam driven by a powerful sounding grand piano and complimented by shakers, the added backing percussion and subtle bird chirps lend well to the creation of this tracks rainforest-esque mystique. next up is the deep, almost jazzy track – jus anuda groove. the rolling bass line and four to the floor beat will get you moving – and keep you there - as osunlade reminds us that this is just another groove. opening up the b-side is schavanna, a funky, guitar-driven track whose pulsating bass line and friendly but muffled vocals will keep people moving on the floor. finally, the ep closes with the waiting game, a hypnotic, tribal-learning track with a foot-stomping beat, colored with the seductive vocals of rainy payne, its hard to tell which is more captivating, the groove itself or the story line she unfolds.

ltd warehouse found... the joubert singers – stand on the word remixes available 12inch, including larry levan mix and exclusive reworks by patchworks, panoptikum arkestra & walter mecca. originally recorded live in the first baptist church in crown heights, nyc, in 1982 under celestial choir and pressed only for the congregation, it was then enlighted by walter gibbons (owner of jus born studios and a new born christian at the time of the recording), who acquired a copy and played it out at the 7th av. rock and soul shop, where he worked. >stand on the word< was walters biggest record at the time, says colin gate, who visited the church in order to track down the origins of the song.
